You can make a difference in the lives of others by volunteering or donating to Community Hope.

Interested in Mentoring a child or youth at school? It takes one session of training and then one hour per week, faithful attendance, and interaction with other mentors and school staff. In keeping with Kids Hope USA practices, Mentors must be agreeable to a background check. Churches can become Kids Hope churches through Community Hope.

Perhaps your adventure comes through working with a group of people to walk alongside a person transitioning out of poverty. You'll become a part of a small group with a heart for seeing someone else reach his/her goals and you'll celebrate victory together.  Groups meet weekly for one hour over the course of one year after participating in 3-4 training sessions. In keeping with the Open Table model, the person making the transition is screened to identify his/her readiness to do the work of making a significant life transition. Volunteers can come from any participating Christian church and must agree to a background check. Churches can become licensed through Community Hope.

Looking for a way to provide comfort and relief to kids? Become a Back Packs for Kids food or emergency pack volunteer.  We meet twice a month during the school year for about one hour to stuff packs.  Delivery of food packs is needed every Friday at 8:30am, so if you have a vehicle that can hold 7 or more plastic tubs and you're willing to serve with a partner on a 3-week rotation basis, we need you.
